- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) causes a person to be compelled to organize and clean. OCDesign is a brochure that brings you a new typography experience in an interactive way. Based on the two extreme typography styles of International Swiss Typography and Grunge Typography leads designers to explore the fun of typography in an interactive form.
Target Audience: Designers who have OCD.
- Mission: The question to all designers is, should the grid system be broken? What is typography?
- Approach: By creating an interactive three-dimensional picture book, designers can switch between well-organized and messy typography in the book. In this way, I want to tell designers that too much pursuit of perfection and being forever trapped in the grid system can sometimes make our minds trapped in small grids too. Sometimes thinking outside the box can simulate our creativity and imagination.
- Program Used: Figma/Illustrator/i-movie
OCDesign is a brochure that provides a creative, interactive way to ask the same question on the minds of all designers: Do we need to follow or break design rules? Having obsessive-compulsive disorder and drawing perfectly symmetrical graphics with the help of Adobe Suite has become our daily life. Constantly moving the position of elements and changing the size of elements has become the daily life of all designers. But typesetting according to the grid too often can sometimes rigidify our thinking, and sometimes we need to break the rules properly to design satisfactory works better.
